Sorry, my English isn’t very good but I like to give it a go.
I am now living for nearly a year here in Albox and I haven’t much luck in planting cacti. I don’t know much about them but I like them. I am struggling with the animals here which are eating them or the cacti are dying and I don’t know why.
Is there someone who can give me some advice how I can successfully planting cacti.

BTW - for anyone who lives in fire prone country, cactus can act a a very good fire-brake.......E

Most of my cacti are not in a pot. They are growing in the ground. I think that made it a little bit more difficult. But we will see.
On our ground there are a lot of dead figcacti, the beautiful Great cacti.I want to plant new ones in autumn. So I have to learn as much as possible.
