Hi

Does anyone know of a notary or Solicitor here that has a UK based office that can certify our DBS certificates? otherwise we will have to send them to a Notary in the UK then get them back then resend them to the gov.uk service to have them legalised for our Residency application, nightmare !!!  we have the DBS certs and now urgently need them certified

Thanks in Advance

Pete

Are you on the updating service.  A person can then access the details electronically?

Can you let me know how to do this please, does that mean I wouldn't have to post them to the notary/solicitor?

Usually when you have a dbs you are given a certain amount  of time to pay for the annual updating service.  This allows someone to access the dbs at any time making it much more accurate as is up to date.  Go into the dbs website and should be info about this.  Could then check with the gestor or solicitor if this is allowed.  It might need to be translated into spanish. It might save in cost and hassle. Good luck.  Very hard when this is so new for everyone.
