I thought La Hoya fed to Huercal Overaband so the Centro Salud..

EHIC, Passport & NIE (if you have one).

If you contact www.citizensadvice.org.es they will confirm documentation & protocol.

Take it you either speak Spanish or will be taking an interpreter?.

The very best of luck.

Thank you so much for your reply. I am already registered at Huercal Over but thought I need a new doctor here in Cantoria.

Thank You

Chris

Mornin,

If you are already registered with a doctor in Spain, all you need to do is take your medical card to the new doctors and they will transfer it. (This worked for us here in Velez Rubio without any fuss.) Good Luck.

if you pop down and speak to Elsa (the receptionist) at the Cantoria medical centre she should be able to answer your questions ,she speaks good English ,and if you need a translator (to speak to the Doctor )call George at the Cantoria town hall on 697916510 he will translate for free
