Morning all, 

We have purchased a house in Cantoria, we completed in September to hopefully to move over in February 2026.

We have the electric sorted regarding direct debit. 

Were still unsure regarding water and bin collection

 Were conscious were 3 months in now and don't want to turn up in arrears already. Could anyone please let us know who we contact to set up direct debits for the refuse and water

You need to go to your local council office and they will sort it out regarding direct debits and if you have a car then it's where you pay the tax.

I pay just over 50 euros for waste every 3 months and obviously water is whatever usage you have. For water you need to contact your local water company but that should have really been done when you purchased the property by whomever you got for the sale
