Hi people!
We are spending the winter in our new house in Bedar and are keen to get some helpful insights and advice on internet services. Does anyone have good/bad experience? Can you recommend a provider? Expensive ? How does it compare to home? All Information appreciated.

Hi. Sorry to be so late replying - I've only just seen your post. Probably too late now, but I set up internet at my Bedar villa just a few months ago. After a lot of research I chose Albox Online. The internet speed is posted as being 25mbps (but I found that the rate was up to over 30mbps a lot of the time when I've tested it). Cost is 25 euros per month (30.25 euros including IVA). Set up and ongoing service is excellent. It's possible to stop and start the service too, but the costings change slightly. Telephone service can also be added, but this is optional. You will need to buy an internet modem (from them or independently) if you haven't already got one. I believe their standard modem is 25 euros. Oh, one other thing. Included in the Albox Online package is a free IPTV service covering all the most popular UK terrestrial TV services (and a lot of Spanish TV too).
