He appears to be a GSD cross very malnourished and almost on his last legs.   I have given him some food and water but I am worried he might not make it through the night.   Can anyone help me to get him to a shelter or rescue home

Thanks a young Spanish cyclist said he would call them when he got home.   The poor thing looks on its last legs

Hi above is the link to Seprona, alternatively, can you take him to any vet. or ask the local vet to contact Seprona. Thank you for helping him.

Poor dog, a very distressing photo. It is a a couple of years since I have visited Vera but I do recall there is a man called Dave do hope the that helps to rescue animals and re-home them. He is based in Turre and runs a second hand furniture shop  which is not far from the main supermarket.  In Velez Rubio there are two charities. AA Rescue Spain and Billie Louise Foskett, you can contact them on Facebook.  I do hope the dog can be saved. Thankyou for caring.

Thank you for your lovely message. Luckily the dog was rescued on Saturday and is currently at a rescue centre and as I understand it doing well.  I hope to go and see him once he is well enough x

I am so pleased to learn that the dog is being cared for.  I hope he makes a good recovery and you get to see him soon.

 He will remember you. x
