Hello we are wondering if anyone could help with the following .We sold our villa in September 2019 and paid Plusvalia Tax .The solicitor duly applied to reclaim this and were told that it was passed by the Town Hall in September2021 . As yet we have not received any money and the solicitor keeps saying we will just have to be patient . If any one can offer any advice on how to gwt our money we would be very grateful Thank you

Your solicitor has had the money when it has been passed it comes straight away mine did go into Spanish bank account

Thank you so much for replying to our post but we have realised we did not explain that although the solicitor tells us our repayment was passed in September 2021 the solicitor has not received the payment .They say they keep going to the town hall but there is nothing they can do and we will just have to be patient .
Could we ask how long it took for you to get your payment and is that fairly recently . Thank you

We sold our house in 2021 and got our tax back about 6months later I think your solicitor is having you on

Hi - I completed on the sale of my apartment on 12th January 2023 and to date still waiting for the reimbursement of Plusvalia Tax. My solicitor advised it does take several months. Upon accessing my Spanish Tax Authority area using my digital signature I can track the progress....just a matter of waiting....

Hi yes it can take up to 9 months keep checking your Spanish bank account
