Just to inform anyone who knows us, sadly we didn’t get any phone numbers as we thought we would be seeing people before now, that our third flight to Almeria has been cancelled by Jet2.  The latest one had to be booked from Birmingham as it looks as though there are no more flights from East Midlands until - fingers crossed - next year.  It is with much regret that we won’t be coming over this year, so we won’t be able to see Steve and Brenda, Nick and Janet in Tapas 20, Ray in Gerardos, Louis in the Flamingo, Caroline and Jorg in the Pannini.  Hopefully their businesses haven’t suffered too much and that they will be able to keep going.  Sad times for everyone at home and abroad.  Thinking of you all Sylv and Ray (missing his walks to the lighthouse).

Carolina and Jacko are still running Panini’s but sadly after almost 50 years the Flamingo has closed down.

That’s sad.  Heard it was up for sale earlier this year.  But I think he he could do with a long rest after working all those hours for that length of time.  Never seemed to have much time off.
