Hi all, I am arriving on 7 May for a week and the weather is looking decidedly unpredictable and mostly wet :( is this normal for the time of year, as I had been advised it would be be upper 70s?

the bad weather is not normal at all with the Calima red rain storms and the mini tsunami sea storm that wrecked the beaches we are being battered at the moment.  Today was glorious but more red rain predicted and on off for the next couple of weeks.  Better bring some warm clothes with you and an umbrella just in case.

Hi Belinda,

April is usually quite a wet month but this year has seen a lot more rain than normal. So much so that the rivers are still running fast! It does look like the rain is going to continue a bit into May but it should soon settle and be in mid to high 20s.
