try a wasp trap take a empty plastic bottle cut in half put some sticky jam/water in the bottom part and then invert the pouring end into the bottom so that there is an opening into it but then they can't get out and drown.  you can buy a very good wasp killer from Mercadona to spray them with that kills them if you do find a nest.  be very careful how many times you are stung and get some antihistamines from the pharmacy.

hi, sorry to hear about your trouble with wasps, there are many traps you can make but if you don't have a lot of space you could be in for more trouble by using traps by encouraging more wasps to your garden after whatever you use for bait, I have to say I don't mind insects including wasps and want them in my garden so I have insect houses etc but I have a lot of space and they tend to nest away from the house, but I know they can be a terrible nuisance and dangerous.  it all depends on what room you have in your yard or garden and what plants if any you have, sometimes  bottles of water by the door or small ones hung up in a tree may help, I know it helped in mexico, also for the mosquitos, they don't like the reflections, but I also use  waspinators, these are bags you fill with paper or cloth etc and hang them near the door or wherever you want, you can get them on amazon or ebay and it explains how to use them on there, or just look them up on the internet, they are not expensive and although I know they don't work for everybody, I find they work for me here and they did in mexico for most flying pests, have a read up on them and see what you think. I know its a real problem trying to get rid of wasps etc but please be very careful when dealing with them, if you do find a nest then please do not tackle it yourself with repellent sprays, you really should get the professionals in to deal with it who have the right equipment etc. hope this helps

Wasps and hornets HATE the scent of peppermint oil. Mix a tablespoon of peppermint oil with four cups of water, and you've got a powerful repellent spray.  I spray this round the pool and it works.

You may find the peppermint oil in the Chinese shops, alternately Buy online.
