Hi could anyone please remind us what the scam is regarding a buyer wanting to send a courier to collect an item which they are “buying”.

Many thanks

I dont know about this scam, But last week I had a text saying it was from Correos saying they had a parcel and needed duty paid. I wasn't expecting any such parcel, but went along in the hope someone in the UK might be sending me something nice!!! anyway when I got there the lady in the post office had a printed sign which she held up, it says' This is a scam do not open, it gives access to your account'.

Hi Jenni

Thanks for that. Yes we’ve had that one but ignored it every time. The other scam is to do with a buyer wanting to use a courier to collect an item they say they wish to buy, but their is some kind of payment required, even though the buyer has supposedly prepaid for the collection?

Cheers

I received exactly the same email last week whilst I was in the UK and it was obviously a scam.
