Hi

If you cannot find anyone locally to teach you Spanish, could I suggest looking for a Spanish tutor on the Italki web site

I have a Spanish teacher called Carolina who lives in Leon . She is a superb teacher and I book skype lessons with her through Italki

regards

Richard

There’s an excellent school called Spanish Marks, which is based in Guatemala - https://www.spanishmarks.com. I’ve been having lessons with one of their teachers, Gabriella, after seeing a post on Nextdoor. They are very reasonably priced - I booked 20 lessons (50 mins each) for £200 - and I know that their teachers are experienced. I am a language teaching professional, and I have been really pleased with my lessons.

Nothing can replace lessons in person, but in this difficult time, it’s good to know that there are other options. I’ve been using Duolingo to increase my grammar and vocabulary and having lessons with Spanish Marks (details above) online to increase my fluency. The only disadvantage is that the pronunciation is Central American - easier to learn, but if you’re based in Spain you may prefer to stick to a Spanish Spanish teacher!! Good luck!
