We are looking for reputable company to move us from Sussex to Arboleas towards the end of May/beginning of June 2017.  We have the equvalent furniture of a 1 bedroom flat.  A sprinter size van will be too small unless towing a trailer.   A 7.5 ton vehicle would be ideal as there is restricted access to our new property.   Thank you

Hi from Mojacar,

Two suggestions to explore.

1. Jimbo the Scott from Urcal. Terrfiic reputations and fully insured. www.jimbothescot.com. Can provide you with e mails and UK and Spanish phone numbers if you can't get on the web page. You never hear any complaints about Jim.

2. Not sure if he is up and running after taking over the Company but Brian's of Paseo Mediterraneo, Mojacar. A really nice chap. Again can provide phone number and e mail but wife on smartphone!!!!!!!!!

Best of luck and be aware there are several firms you wouldn't want to use.

Hi Bob & Sandra

Do you know if there is a minimum load and/or cost per square meter for transport?

Also, thanks for the recommendation for Richard Miller he is scheduled to be doing 2 bathrooms for us in Puerto Lumbreras and a refurb in Villaricos.

Regards, Alex & Mark

Hi Guys,

Good to hear from you & that things are moving forward. Jimbo is in the village below us in Urcal. He has only brought items back for us and is just about to bring back a mattress and then 2 sofas. He has a calculator on his www for meterage. Never heard a bad word about him in 10'years & as others always comment you are insured.

Hope that helps in some way. Did you look on the www?

Yep, Jimbo moved us over 10 years ago. Excellent service and super bloke. Will not rip anybody off like some do. Highly recommend him.

Hi I second the recommendation for Fred Phillips and Jimbo the Scot, they have both helped move me to and from Arboleas and Jim is moving me back to Spain in January, you couldn't get anyone more helpful and honest I am sure.  Good luck with your move and I hope you enjoy Arboleas, Polly S
