NHS tests

Hi,
A question I am hoping someone can help with. My Grandson and girlfriend are visiting in August. They both work for the NHS, as a result they are tested weekly, my question is can the NHS tests be used as acceptable for travel to Spain? Or do the have to pay for a private test too?
I've searched on forum and haven't seen this question asked before therefore it might be usual for others to know too.
