No chance of bringing your disability car with you  except for a holiday 28 day maximum, you will have to return the car and then buy one in Spain you can use your disability badge here in Spain only trouble you will have then is renewing it when its due in UK very difficult if you have no UK address.I would check with the disability  dept who pay you if the disability part(car) for this is paid to you whilst in Spain i know military is (but not car ) not sure otherwise, but if in doubt check with all departments what you can transfer to Spain.

Hi Debbie, is your Disability benefit Income or contribution based? If it is income based you get nothing at all including ESA. If it is contribution based you can get both but not the mobility component. I am on income based and was told that I will lose all of my benefits if I move to Spain.

In a way I am lucky and had an inheritance in order to buy my house in Spain outright. And I am going to use what little is left to try and start a business in Spain to keep me going. I NEED  to move to Spain for my health as otherwise I will be a vegetable with the British weather. My body just can't cope with so much cold and rain. I don't know what I will do yet but it will be worth pushing my body for the benefits that Spanish weather will provide.

Don't give up on your dream. Go to the Citizens Advice Bereau and see if there is any help they can give you. If you find out anything PM me and maybe together we can find a way to get you out to Spain.

Glad to see.you are getting such great advice from others. Generally we are a reasonable.bunch out here although just like in UK there are scum that.prey on the retired. Primarily English scum who lie about their abilities and rely on the fact they speak english and that you won't know the ropes. Renting shouldn't pose these problems.

Anyway explore all the options and when you decide to rent then advertise on all the local Forums- this one, Arboleas Forum & Facebook Forum, as the rental will probably be cheaper than going through an agent. Friends of ours in the valley below.us are paying.just 200€/ month for their 2BR casetta  but they have transport.

The very.best of luck and as I commented.before if we were coming out now then we would rent.
