Hi, we are driving, for the 1st time, from Calais to our home in Arboleas. Any advice on the best route and somewhere to stay approximately half way down (?Toulouse) would be much appreciated.

Hi Maxine
Have a good read of the whole of this thread. It was a couple of months ago now and for people looking to get back to UK , but obviously the same applies coming the other way. Lots of good information.
