Advice, Good or Bad

Please take anything you read on this forum with a pinch of salt.There are certain people who give advice on each and every subject but with no facts to back up their OPINIONS.
Before we got internet in this area the only communication between expats was through the free English language papers, Entertainer and Sur in English. One regular contributor and I think he set up the first expats advice group claimed because he lived in La Cinta he lived in Arboleas. Now the majority of La Cinta belongs to Cantoria which is where he lived. Would yoy take the advice of someone who does not know where they live?
