Possibly. Possibly not; the point is Britain gets no say whatsoever in whatever happens now.

I think there will be a United States of Europe ,and it’s true we will have no say in it .. but that’s how it should be and I for one would not want to be part of it .....

As Matthew points out, the issues facing a United Ireland are very large and complex and if it does occur, it likely won’t happen for decades yet.
But an independent Scotland is becoming a distinct possibility.
