2nd Hand Part Wanted

 There is a place in Huércal-Overa that you can go and search for the car bit you need - it’s on the right up the steep track to the castello - The sign says they speak English although it’s a very old sign! Maybe someone on the forum knows the name and contact details - I am not very car minded but remember my husband saying it was where cars went to be stripped of their useable bits after an accident and he mentioned wing mirrors as an example!

The place I went to was Desguace la balsica.  .  They do speak English because I communicated with them via what's app.  I found their advert in the Almeria living magazine. You turn off the motorway for Huercal sur and continue on the winding road until you are almost in Huercal Overa, (there is a sign for a tanatorio on the left) just before that you turn off right and go slowly down over the rambla then a steep incline brings you to this scrapyard.  2 young lads dealt with me who didn't speak English but I managed to tell them that I was expected (arranged it via what's app).  They disappeared and brought the part then I paid a girl who sits in a little office for them.  You are allowed 7 days if you need to return anything and get your money back.  I described the model of my car and what I wanted firstly asked them.if they could help.  They had a car similar in the yard so I took it from there.  I never actually saw the person who speaks English and never entered the area where all the cars were.  Their telephone number is 950470277 or 616424442. The advert is on page 92 this month in the aforesaid magazine hope this is of help.

Hello there.  Not sure if you will be able to get this part easily as your X5 is quite knew. But good luck.  Not sure if the mirrors are the same for a RH Drive vehicle, but is may be good to also try The UK or even in Germany/Europe.  good luck anyway.
