Best pay as you go Provider is without doubt DigiMobil.  They are carried by Movistar, so excellent coverage.  They offer a variety of plans you can change month-to-month with no penalty.  I’m on the 10€ plan and for that I get unlimited National Calls and 3GB data.  Unused data rolls over at end of month if you recharge.  For 10€ you can also select to have 400 minutes National AND International calls and 2.5GB data,which again rolls over.  Plans go up to a 20€ plan which is I think 10GB data / unlimited national calls or 800 minutes National and international calling.

They also offer customer service in English and your DigiMobil SIM can roam in Europe and UK.  The website is https://www.digimobil.es and you can select to view the site in English.  There is a store locator on the site, an explanation of the various pay-as-you-go plans, and a MyDigi account page you can create allowing you to recharge your account etc. (Once you have a card recorded with them, recharging monthly plan can be done by dialing *100# from the handset.  Easy.)

Hello, depending on what phone you want. Telplay on las burganvillas roundabout have a selection of reasonably priced mobiles, and I agree 100% with other person regarding Digi Mobil I’m on the same plan he mentioned for 10€ a month unlimited calls and 3gb data. I bought my SIM card from the little supermarket on las burganvillas too Antonio speaks English if you need to and is very helpful. I bought phone from Telplay (Juan also speaks English) and sim from the supermarket few doors away and was up in running in mins and I kept my number from Vodafone too.
