We travel over twice a year with our dog, use brittany ferries from Plymouth or Portsmouth. Only book 2 weeks before trip and say we are totally flexible on date, port of departure and Santander or Bilboa. Accept a large kennel , though we have been lucky on several occasions have secured a pet friendly cabin. Overnight on ferry then one night in a hotel for an easy drive. 3.5 hours south of Bilbao @junction 99 on motorway is a lovely pet friendly hotel. Following day 6 hrs steady drive to Huercal Overa and Lidl. If you can use a discount code for ferry pm me.

Not sure which flights take pets.I suspect a london flight.
