Hi pleaae can I have some advice. I want to relocate to Spain permanently but need to know if I find a property and and buy one can I apply for residency beforehand ie , from UK or do I have to apply after house purchase? My concern is that I buy a property to live in permanently and fir whatever reason I don't get residency I won't be able to live permanently in Spain and will be left with a property I cannot live in. Thanks in advance.
best advice would be do not buy until you have gone through the process needed now to become a resident better to rent until you are certain. See the steps needed in the posting on site from the consulate.
