Paying a parking fine issued in Alicante

Same happened to me - I eventually ended up going on to the Ayuntamiento de Almeria site and paying through there

Thank you Dario for your reply. When we went into Caxia bank she told us to go to the traffic       Office. Is there one in Albox or we have seen there is one in Huercal Overa? 

The only traffic office I know is in Almeria, hence me jumping on the Ayuntamiento de Almeria website

EDIT!! I’ve just re-read your post and saw you said ALICANTE not Almeria - my apologies if I have confused you.

Advice holds true though, nearest Traffico office is Almeria, BUT I would recommend looking at Ayuntamiento de ALICANTE site and seeing if there is somewhere there you can pay a traffic fine.

Another possibility is to download the miDGT app, register (you’ll need the Cl@ve pin App as well) and pay the fine through that. miDGT has the additional benefit of being an authorized (by DGT) electronic copy of your Licence in case you don’t have your plastic one to hand when stopped - it also gas all details for cars registered in your name including ITV status, insurance etc etc
