HI WE ARE MOVING TO THE ANTAS AREA AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE BUS SERVICES TO AND FROM TO MOJACAR AND VERA ETC. LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING OVER AGAIN IN A WEEKS TIME BUT COULD ALSO DO WITH AN INTERPRETER TO HELP WITH VIEWING APARTMENTS/VILLAS.

Hi,

Can only suggest you look at ALSA BUS fir any schedules.if any. Frankly public transport out here is spotty if it exists at all.Would strongly suggest a hire car.

As to Interpreter, if you are searching via Estate Agents then you will find almost all have English speaking staff and will collect and deliver you.

If you end up buying from a Brit & a cash sale from a UK Bank or Offshore then consider a CHAPS Transfer for the 90% & a transfer agency like GCEN.or Transferwise for the 10%+ fees.

Best Wishes,

Bob and Sandra

Mojacar Playa and Puerto Lumbreras.

There’s one bus an hour that leaves on the hour from Vera bus station to Mojacar Playa, it’s the number 2. I think it starts in Antas but only early morning 7 or 8 o’clock I don’t think there’s any service, at least on the 2, between Antas and Vera for the rest of the day. However there are other routes which do stop at Antas enroute to Vera. Probably best to check at the bus station in Vera or on line.
