Wanting to find out about gaining NLV so am starting to look at the above . We are being quoted 320 pounds per month is this correct seems so expensive to pay out each month hubby 67 and gets his old age pension I however don’t get my old age pension for another 4 and a half years will most likely take early retirement but this will greatly affect my private pension which I can take at a reduction being 62 years old . I have GHIC card hubby applied for one months ago any advice or recommendations and is this a reasonable cost to pay . Anyone know where we can get this cheaper in order to get our NLV if we have to prove income but are paying that level of monthly fee that might make it impossible for us to do . We have a house but holiday home currently but we so want to live out in our new home . Any advice greatly appreciated many thanks in abtici

We have DKV . We started with them when applying for NLV in 2016. Very reasonable. We both are now 71yrs & very happy with them. Let them know you're applying for NLV. They will quote you both with & without preexisting conditions. Best wishes.

Hi

This morning, I picked up my NLV from the Manchester Consulate. I too am 67 and I bought medial insurance from ASSSA who advertise on this forum - scroll down and you will come to their advert. They are based in Vera, speak English and are very helpful and efficient. I pay just over 100 euros a month. They understand the NLV process and issue a certificate of coverage which fully fulfills the visa requirements.

I’ve just contacted them and my quote at age 62 and hubby 67 and my quote was for 2352 euros a year which is a lot more money than 100 euros a month don’t understand this but thanks for the advice
