Not really. The biggest one is in Alicante where 'British immigrants' make up one-third of the population. In Almeria Mojacar is the main centre for British immigrants.

As well as smaller outlying places such as Albox and Urcal
Hi well actually there is here in Almeria if you don’t want the usual football pubs, fish and chips etc, . But if you want a home from home!, you may need to feel your feet first, I know ‘what you know’ is a comfort but hey, there is so much more to do, see and find. Things you could not do in the U.K.
I have done it all alone and yes not easy at times, but stick with it you will be so happy that you did. Here on this site you can find someone to help you or who knows of a good person who can help.
I really miss making new friends I must do something about that here

In Roquetas de Mar there is a thriving Tapas Trail group and a walking group, mainly comprising retired Britons.
Thanks for your reply. Do you have any further info on these groups, so i can make contact.
Regards Tom.

Hi Tom,
Did you have any luck with finding groups? I am in Aquadulce. I still work but would love to meet other English or Dutch speakers for the odd function over weekends, the odd meal or outing to theatre etc
Let me know how it has worked out for you
Regards
Mandy
