I agree, the UK government are asking people to get a PCR test, at the moment it is a request but because of the rising numbers of cases in Spain it is very likely it will be the only option.  The price for a PCR  in Spain is 100euros.

I did also think a PCR might be made mandatory too but I have seen the cases in Spain are actually falling, they’ve fallen by 20% in the last few weeks so I’m not convinced a PCR will be made mandatory and let’s be honest with India being moved onto Amber recently and only an antigen being required to fly home from there, I’d be quite gobsmaked if it’s made mandatory for spain!!

I had an antigen test at the pharmacy in Mojacar (down the ramp) in June and this cost 50 euros - received the results within 30 minutes. Before returning to UK again this week, I had one at the Medical Centre near the Bullring in Vera - this cos 40 euros (& was far less brutal than the one I had in Mojacar!) and I had the results within 15 minutes. They are really busy at the moment so you would be best booking in advance.

Hi. Bought a rapid antigen test from c19testing.co.uk whilst in the uk. Delivered within 24 hrs. Cost £29.00 . Took it to Spain with me. You need to take the test within 3days before your return to the uk .They give you a chart to tell you the best time. You then take a photo of your test alongside your passport and send the company the results.They then email you yous certificate. It’s so easy.It’s uk government approved and you don’t need to go hunting for a pharmacy. Would highly recommend.

We also travelled from Rosslare, Ireland. We both had EU Covid certificates but one had not been downloaded properly. They wouldn't let us board until we sorted it out. In Bilbao they checked and scanned passports. No check on SPTH QR code, no check on EU certs, just passports! 

We ordered antigen test before we went to spain arrived day later £27 each and took them with us. So easy to do and got the certificate in a hr back

EV medical opposite Bull Ring Vera. Antigen test. 40 Euro. Day before travelling from Alicante to Manchester. No problem at airport. Testing for all day 2 test on return to UK.

Agreed...we have had extremely good service twice hete.
