There used to be Spanish lessons in the village, but these haven't taken place for a number of years.   If you are interested write a letter to the Ayuntamiento with your suggestion, your name and signature and they should get back to you.

Every year in the winter we have an Adult Education teacher. We don't know who we will get this year yet, but if they have the capabilities to teach Spanish to foreign residents of Albanchez, and there is enough demand for it, I will make you aware.

Unfortunately in previous years, a lot of people sign up for these type of classes, but by week 3 only a few people attend.

In the mean time, I recommend a free App, DUOLINGO, for your smart phone or tablet. Its a really good basic introduction to Spanish.

Also, sit down for 1/2hr to an hour everyday and watch the news on Spanish TV. You'll be amazed at how quickly you start to pick up Spanish.

Thanks Steve that’s really helpful , Steve, Conor and I are attending Spanish classes in Arboleas, but we wanted to build up our knowledge quicker than what we are doing ( I just started 3 weeks ago as I have only just finished working in the UK). So it will be us 3 if possible. We will start to watch the Spanish news more often 😀

Hello,

I'm new here so I'm still learning how this forum works as well as putting myself out through my own page.

I want to help people by teaching Spanish or even getting their current levels higher.

I live in Garrucha but I'm able to travel on my own car.

Hope you have a good weekend and I apologise if this post is in the wrong site.

Kind regards

Juan
