I bought my property in Albox in June 2021. Do I have to pay Non Residents Tax this year or is paid in arrears next year?
I would appreciate any advice, as I am still learning about Spanish property ownership.
You will have to pay for the period you owned the property in 2021.The payment has to be made by the end of 2022.

Hi Keith,
As someone has already said 2021 taxes need paying before the end of 2022. When I consulted my gestor in March about paying the taxes for the previous year, he told me emphatically no, wait till the end of the year , don't pay it early ! Lol.

The last time I went to the Gestoría to have the Foreigners Tax calculated, he told me things have now changed and I need to pay it by the end of June. Has anyone else been advised of such?

I have now used Iberian Tax Services to pay my N R Tax.from the UK. They provided advice and their charges are reasonable. 31 December is the last day to pay.
