Hi there. We are having difficulty in finding and contacting boarding kennels or home care for our 2 dogs, one medium size and old, one small and young. We live about 15 minutes from Albox. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be very happy to hear from you. Thanks, Fionnuala
Although its quite a distance from you we use Pet Hotel Mojacar. Its on the road between Turre and Mojacar. The owners wife is a vet. They charge us 20 euro per night for 2 dogs.
Sarah at Sleepy Hollow +34 617313587, Huercal Overa. There is also a chap in Fines, Paws Awhile which is by the rambla if you check out Google Maps. Used both so can recommend.

I thought Sarah had left Sleepy Hollow a couple of years ago. Good news if she’ back. Not only was it a good kennels but also she was excellent at grooming my border terrier.
Have to say I’ve just started using TrustedHousesitters, which is an app where you can find people who want to come to your home to look after your pets. Sounds weird but seems to work. There are lots of digital nomads/retired people who are keen to move around. I’ve had two sits so far - both of which went very well. The first was from a retired Canadian couple who stayed 12 days, and the second was 6 days from someone in her 20’s from Alicante. Both got on very well with the dog who seemed absolutely fine when I got back. And each time the house was spotless on my return!

didn't realise she had left but certainly I had my dog booked in this last August with her but had to cancel due to health. Yes lots of people are becoming house sitters these days, hope it carries on being a good experience!
