Driving to Albox from Calais: does anyone know of a hotel near Perpignan?

Hi Sarah,

Have you tried googling for hotels in the area? I find this very useful, especially if I'm looking for a cheap hotel for the night.

I also drive to Albox although from Dieppe and follow the west coast of France then stop for the night lo San Sebastian. 

I try not to stop in France for fuel, food, etc as things are cheaper over the Spanish border (also, I don't speak French)!

Hi. Go to www.hotels.com and input Perpignan there. A list of hotels will come up with full descriptions of what they offer: free parking, wifi, location etc. With most of them you reserve and then pay on arrival. If you're a frequent hotel user suggest you sign up with them as once you've booked and stayed ten times you get a free night.

Also, use topcashback when ooking and you get money back after your stay. We house sit all over Europe and use this system. So far we have 'earned' 12 free nights and have had £400 back via topcashback.

They have secure garages which are attached to your room.  Large enough for a van too.  Very secure and quite a good hotel for an overnight stop.  24 hour reception, we didn't get there until 2 in the morning but it was no problem.  About 10 minutes off the motorway.  Just past Perpignan.
