Hi,

I am looking for a estate agency vacancy in the Almeria area. I am looking at relocating from the UK. I hold 2 degree's in housing law and have been an Operational Manager looking after 176 letting offices Nationwide, so I have a wealth of experience. I am a mature, although 52 years young female, looking for a new life and career in the sun.

I am passionate about the housing industry and I will be an asset to any office in Almeria. I know it is the end of the season, I am in no rush and happy to wait until the New year if you are looking at recruiting then.

Hi,

If you look for the on line version of

The Almeria Focus Magazine and Directory

You will find all the local Estate Agents / Inmobiliarias.

Then it would be e mail and c.v. to those you feel appropriate.

Best Wishes anyway,

Bob and Sandra

A question - do you speak Spanish?  I know for a certainty that around this area, whilst English is welcomed, they do like you to be able to converse in Spanish.  I have a friend here who is an estate agent ....

Hi All,

I don't know if any of you saw my advert I had running for 3 month's in Euro weekly. I possibly ran it to soon for the season, but I actually arrive on the 4th April, which ironically is my birthday. I will leave my home on the night of the 1st April to drive down to Portsmouth, then sail on the morning of the 2nd April landing in Bilbao on Wednesday 3rd April. I will then drive to Vera, breaking to stay over night in a hotel and arriving for my first night in my apartment on 4th April.

I am hopeful then by meeting people face to face and handing my CV out I will find a position either part time or full time. If anyone is aware of any position's please let me know.

I am sadly not fluent in Spanish, but I am learning and will be joining classes when I am over. Once I arrive I will be looking at joining social event's and will be seeking any help to join in the community in Vera and surrounding area's. See you all in 2 week's a very excited Michelle

Hi Dario,

Thank you for your reply. I am so sorry I had missed your post, but thank you for taking the time to respond. I sadly do not speak Spanish fluently, although I am learning and I will join classes when I arrive in 2 week's.

Well I can certainly introduce you to a very good friend of mine who is an Estate agent here in Vera and who should be able to give you some guidance on what is available / feasible here.  Jobs are not plentiful, but there always exists the possibility something will come up ....

Buena suerte for the forthcoming trip - oh - a question (that I think is already answered ....) do you have your Residencia? If not, before taking work, you will (more so now, with Brexit uncertainty abounding) need to have Residencia and most definitely registered with Seguridad Social.  I have a friend there, too :-D

Give me a call when you get here, I can make necessary introductions and offer any advice on Residencia (that may or may not still be valid ....) and registering with Seguridad Social that you may find helpful.  Will PM you with contact details.

Un saludo, Darío
