We hope to be driving over to Albox in October,  if we can secure a long term rental, we will only have our car for 6 months, what is public transport like in the area??

Very little public transport inland, it's mostly at the coast...

You will really struggle. Transport is fragmented and not user friendly.

Best of.luck anyway,

I'm not the best person to answer this, we've only used one once in an emergency (flat tire!). There definitely are taxi firms, I'm sure some drivers speak English although when we got one the gent spoke only Spanish, though he was very nice. There are also car rental companies, of course..

There are a few taxi firms around. Loli Domene is very good and reliable. She also speaks very good English her contact number is 646298053. You can contact her and she will give you a price for your journey. There is also Lorenzo  6079953388 or 643357906 and Emilia 618968497  and Maria taxi's 610326712 or 670849155 from the Arboleas area.
