I have English friends who live in the so called gypsy quarter. They love it there and when I’ve visited never seen any problems at all.

HI, if you are coming to live permanent then you would probably be OK.If it is going to be a holiday home I think I would be inclined to look elsewhere as there tend to be more break ins where properties are left vacant for a while.

Sorry can't be more helpful.

Best wishes,

Paul.

Gypsy quarter!where is this area? Turree,Cuevas de Almanzora? We've been going to a Gypsy church for 20 yrs, they are great family people and all work the markets every week, own their own properties and once when the church was robbed by Non Gypsies, when the Pastor found out who had done the deed he went to their house and prayed with the Family. It's not gypsies who are the problem, if there is one.
