I will never double park again! Just to let you know that I received a parking ticket outside Santander Bank when I double parked to quickly get some money out! There were loads of cars all doing the same thing which is why I did it but I still got a ticket! All the others scarpered off which left my car being the only one left!

Every time I'm across I can't believe the way the Spanish happily abandon the car, put the hazards on and carry on about their business. But it stands to reason a Brit would get fined.

Well break the law suffer the consequences.
Personally, I think anyone who double parks should also get a fine and lose points off of their license, as they are endangering other road users.
It's dangerous, rude and inconsiderate of other road users.
Spanish, English, Dutch, Irish, French etc. reg they all should be penalized and heavily
It's similar to the mind set of 'Well Sr.y Sra. J. Garcia Lonchera do it, so why can't I? Indicate which direction I'm going with my turn signals why? Who uses them in Spain, so I do not need to hurmph.... ''
