Hi there
We have a bad smell coming from 110mm vent pipe from septic tank.
It has an open end and wonder if there should be some end cover or similar?

It is supposed to be open to prevent build up of gases. Best bet is to extend the pipe so as to get the opening as far from ground level as possible.
