There are no trains in large parts of Almeria. Coach services are plentiful but slow.
Best to travel by car.
If you havent got one, get a sat nav/gps and/or good map.
Motovia, motorways are excellent. Malaga is south of here, (Huercal Overa just before Almeria goes into Murcia region).and guessing 3-4 hours driving.
Plenty of gas stations/cafes for food/drink along the motovia to help your journey. Sign posting is very good, general motovia speed limits are 120 kpm which is I think around 72-75 mph ish lol.
Good luck, have a pleasant journey. Any other more specific information just ask, the forums are a handy guide to most everything.

Hello!! I am travelling to Malaga on soon and will be staying in Benalamadania! However i wish to travel to a small town in the Almeria area. I do not like driving much, so any ideas on 'where' and 'how'?
Thx Glen

Hi. If you go onto Air b n b there have been a small number of Huercal Overa residents letting out rooms etc that look ok,
We used air b n b in madrid in March and had no problems.
Hope that helps.

Albox is about 20 minutes from Huercal Overa.
