Good morning, my name is Gillian. My husband and I are coming to stay in our friend's villa for a month next week. We are looking to hire a car but wanted to know if we should hire one at the airport to get to Albox, then hire one in Albox and return the one to the airport

.Our dilemma at the moment is getting to Albox to hire a car. Just wondered if anyone has the answer to this.

If anyone has recommendations for a car hire company it would be greatly appreciated. In fact any help in this matter will be a great help

Ummmm I lived in a village just outside Albox but moved back 2 years ago. To my knowledge (hopefully someone will correct me) there isn't anyone that hires cars in Albox, most people hire the car at the airport and then keep it for their stay and return to the airport.

There are at least 2 companies that hire cars in Albox. However it’s probably easier to try and get a deal from the air

Costa Coches hire cars from the airport and they are based in Mojacar

Every one has different experiences but just completed my 7th Enterprise car hire at Alicante

Always great cars and really good service

Personally always take out excess insurance etc

If you are just trying to get from the airport to Albox look at Exclusive Airport Shuttles .

A lot depends on which airport you are flying in/out of. Prices are higher at the smaller airports due to lack of competition and local prices are very high when all the extras are factored in.
