Would definitely be the cheapest.

To answer the question in the title, there hasn't been a train station in Albox since the mid-80s.

Sadly there hasn' been a shuttle bus since end March . I have the same predicament. 

Taxi very expensive.

Anyone have other ideas ?

There are people who will do a car share if it fits in. Or you could hire a car from

 doyouSpain.com. 

If you ask on the forum then I’m sure you will get a reply. I’m coming from Almeria airport to Albox on 18th June in the adterif that helps.

2 Weeks ago (beginning of June 2018) I landed in Almeria got a taxi to the bus/train station and got a bus to Albox 12€ no problems. Their is one bus in the morning and one bus in the afternoon however I am struggling to find a bus back to Almeria and where does it depart from any body able to help out their

HI, you will probably be best getting a taxi to Huercal Overa then a bus to Almeria. Not sure but think they run every hour or so. Hope this may help.
