As a quick fix, when we arrived here we just used our british mobile contracts with a high data package and used the iphones as a hotspot router to stream tv to our chromecast via an android APK app on a tablet. It sounds confusing but if you have not got anything sorted and want the latest tv shows and movies then PM me and I will explain how to do it in detail.

Hi,

My husband and I will be arriving in Roquetas de Mar next week, staying for 6 weeks. Where we are staying only has internet in the reception. We would love to be able to watch English TV and  use Netflix but we have no internet. Is there anywhere we find a provider for a short term? Or any other suggestions how we can get internet short term ?  We visit Roquetas 2 or 3 times per year and it would be great if we could sort out something for out future visits also. Can anyone help?

Thank you,

Mary

Until the dreaded "B" thing happens you can use the 4G access in your phone at the same rate as when in the UK. Not ideal, I know, but better than nothing. If you're exceptionally lucky and you have a Samsung smart phone, and your accommodation has a Samsung smart TV, you can use Smartview. That means that the stream on your phone or tablet can be seen on the TV.

Failing all of the above, perhaps learn a little Spanish and watch their free to air programs? OK, I'll get my coat. 😁

Regards. Lee.

As per Lee B reply see comment above about 4G access to streaming, Should be a good 4G signal in the city.

Hi kev,

Thank you for that I don't think we'll be back until September, but if I haven't sorted anything I'll get in touch.

Regards

Sue and Neil
