Hi.
we have always found internet streaming a bit pants to be honest. Its really bad in the hight of the season when everyone is online. We use the good old fashioned way of 4G streaming from our British contracts. Its much faster and wont buffer (start & stop)
If you want anymore info then just PM me and I will send you the details of how you go about it.
Regards ,
Kev.
Ok do it

Good morning.
Well its a bit of a faff but it is really good once you get the hang of it.
OK first you need a contract phone one for you and one for your wife/partner/friend whatever. It needs to be a british contract with say Vodafone or 02. Get the best possible deal you can from them regarding data usage. 4G is just a term they use for the speed of the data transfer. That's important as you will be whats called "streaming". That just means you are downloading the data and watching as you go.
Now you can do this with the Spanish version but it is slightly more expensive but its easier once you get the hang of stuff.
Ok so assuming you have contracts with a british company already, haggle with them to get more data or threaten to leave...that's when they start to listen. You ideally need about 16gig a month on each contract. That will give you 32 gig a month to stream television, use the internet, download films etc.etc.
That's more than enough to keep a full house happy..
Now this is the pain in the bum part. Last year "data roaming" was stopped in Europe. That means they are not allowed to charge you anymore for using your phone/ipad abroad. Its now all the same price as if you where in Britain.
But there is a catch.
You can only use your home data and call/text time for 2 months in any one period. Hence the 2 sim cards.
You use your 16g of data first (plenty) then you have to send the sim card back to Britain for someone..say your children to use it back home. This makes the network think you are back in Britain and everything resets again.
Then once you get to your last few gigs on the other sim card, get them to send it back and you then post out the other card.
Its a bit long winded I know, but we have 60g of data, unlimited phone minutes and unlimited texts for around £30 a month.
Lot cheaper and a hell of a lot more reliable than Spanish internet.
Hop this helps. If you are not sure on anything just give me a shout.

I don’t understand the question. How to stream from your UK contract.? Some people here buy another box which has the IP address in the uk. Ie the box thinks it’s in London or where ever in the uk. It then does the tv and internet from the box in Spain but has a uk address. Not sure how legal. U can most things done here but they recently shut down the signal from a specific satellite whereby a lot of people had paid for the dish, box etc and watched all the sky channels for free. They then had to sign up for another supplier. People have sky and hundreds of channels but how legal some of the suppliers are I do not know
Best regards
Kev

you have to use a proxy web ip. Ie Tunnel Bear.
It fools the server into thinking you are anywhere in the world. It will work for any website if you set yor location to say London. Or if you want to watch Netflix free, change your location to the USA.
Years ago you couldn't watch iplayer or play the lottery because it would see you where in Spain and stop it.
Its a bit easier these days :)

I have never used a box or satellite dish to be honest. That's old school tech now.As long as you have a smart TV or a chromecast or Firestick you will be able to watch anything anytime.
