My parents have lived there for about 15 years and they love it.

Oh wow. Must be nice if they've been there all that time.

I'm just trying to find out abit more about it for full time living . I've checked out the camping website but it's better to get real opinions.

We are mid 50s and looking to relocate in about two years time. We love the idea of being part of a community but also near a village. Los Gallardos looks to be within walking distance and the coast a short drive.

We've stayed in Palomares a few times and have thought about buying there but would need to spend alot more money than on a mobile home and we like the idea of having your own space around you. It's a gamble either way I think as to whether it works or not but the mobile home seems a good way to test the water.

Thanks again. Any info greatly appreciated.

What would be handy to know is ,

How easy is it to get a plot  there , do they get resales very often. I'm guessing if people are staying so long it maybe hard to get on there.

Also it looks quite close to the road so us it noisy

Thanks

The mobile home section of the website will show you current sales. The road is quite close but i don't find it too noisy, the roads are never particularly busy. My mum is 86 and my dad nearly 80 and when they first moved there they would walk down to Los Gallardos. The site has all the facilities, the shop is quite well stocked and the bar and restaurant is very popular in normal times. There's a bowling team if you're into that. As i said my parents have been very happy there. I hope you can find what you want.

Aww thanks. It just sounds so lovely. Can't wait to be able to travel over and have a proper look. I'm a hairdresser so maybe a chance of doing abit over there. Thanks again for your help. Carole

Hi, we are looking to do exactly the same, we visited the site a couple of years ago and it looked fantastic. We had a walk around the site and everyone seemed very friendly.

Don't know if you are aware but you can rent a mobile home on the site try before you buy. We intend to do this when allowed, the bar and pool area look fantastic, cant wait to get back there to try it for a couple of weeks.

Hi

Thanks for the info. It would be good to stay there to get the feel of the place.

It's also waying up paying out less initially to buy a mobile home versus bricks n mortar against paying out site fees. We'd be looking at a permanent move and I'm not sure how much outside space the plots have.

Just can't wait to get back there

Thanks Carole

When you look at fees, buying a small property in a local spanish village is far cheaper. We have neighbours who lived on Los gallardos for 12 years but moved to our small village 4 years ago.
