Hi again, Spain has products that are not available in UK and vice versa. For example we have never found Piriton or Phenergan(outdated but useful as night sedation) and bring from UK. You want to avoid Triludan which has cardiac side effects &'hardly ever used if ever. Just go to any pharmacy and indicate to the Pharmacist having looked up Hay Fever on Google Translate. If he offers a variety then write down names and check on line. If you are taking any medication already then show him/her to avoid problems.
Hope this helps. Typical Surgeon, useless as a GP.
Keep taking the tablets,

Hi,
All you need is a packet of LORATADINA.
A packet of 20 of these 1 a day anti allergy tablets will cost less than ā¬4 at any farmacy.
They do not make you drowsy and you just take 1 every 24 hours until the symptoms subside, usually 3 days. Perfect for any allergy, Mosquito bites or itching etc.
Hi again, Still on way back to apartment. Delayed in Garrucha.
So what do you want me to do if anything as not due back at cottage until Friday at present unless neighbour calls. Is it the 5mg.or 2.5mg tabs.

Bob Thank you for your help, I took a tablet called AERIUS 5mg (Supposedly Non-Drowsy) at 7pm last nite I was asleep by 8 and woke up at 9 this morning, (probably the best sleep I have had since my arrival in Spain....) and am feeling a million times better, which would lead me to believe that it was not hay-fever at all but one of those "bugs" that fly around and debilitate us, my reasoning for it being Hay-fever was I suffered greatly from back in Australia with the Wattle and the symptoms were identical, thinking that the Olive pollen is at an all time high this year. I appreciate your help and you going out of your way to help and apologize for not getting back to you sooner but I was pretty much non compos mentis for the whole of last night....lol

Always happy to help where possible although the tooing and froing as I work at the finca is a little wearing. Having final AC fitted at Mojacar this morning and then waiting to see if Spanish neighbour will assist in obtaining 56 new Almond Trees and sub-letting his No.2 to assist me in planting. This and still fighting the Insurance Company and Consorcio with more hindrance than help from my broker in Madrid.
Ah well, it all passes the time but sometimes Spain can be less than tranquil.
So glad to hear you are feeling markedly improved. Know what you mean about the wattle and bottle brush trees in Oz. We take Piriton when we go as well as all our other medication. Thank the Lord for OTC in Spain although technically we should only take in 3 months worth.
Bye for now, there goes the new Compressor. Domingo really is a star.
