Hi we are moving to Almería province soon and are wondering what Tijola is like to live in. Are there any Spanish classes? Does it get cold in the winter? Are the locals welcoming?

I have a house in Seron about 6 kms from tijola the winters are quite cold sometimes around 1 degree at night. Tijola is a wonderful town some nice bars and restaurants. I am uncertain whether there are any Spanish classes. Have you tried the app duo lingo. Also my villa is available to rent if you wanted to spend some time in the area before buying. It’s on this site, the only property advertised in seron so easy to find

Thanks for the reply.
Cold we can deal with, however perpetual rain and grey skies are a challenge!
We are already learning through the duolingo app but using what we have learned everyday in Spain is when it really makes a difference.
We are coming over next Sunday for two weeks house hunting and hopefully tie up some loose ends on our return and get out there at the end of May.
We are looking for a rental property for 3 to 4 months. Is that something you can help with?

we have purchased a property opposite Armuna in the Rambles very nice and quiet people are very friendly and welcoming it is 1.5km from Tijola and we to are learning spanish with the Duo Lingo app. We dont live there at the moment full time but hoping to soon we love it there.
